By submitting an application or creating an account on Xylento, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

What Xylento is

Xylento is a startup review and investment platform. You submit information about yourself and your startup; our team personally reviews it; if we're interested, we reach out to discuss a potential investment. Submitting an application does not guarantee investment, a meeting, or any specific outcome.

The review fee

Applications require a one-time, non-refundable review fee, shown before payment at checkout. Paying the fee guarantees a human review of your application — it does not guarantee acceptance, investment, or a positive outcome. See our Refund Policy for the limited exceptions.

Application data is locked

Once your application is submitted and paid for, the founder and startup information you provided is locked and cannot be edited. This is so our team reviews exactly what you submitted. You can still update your personal contact details (phone, links, timezone) from your dashboard at any time.

Accuracy of information

You're responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit. Providing false or materially misleading information about yourself or your startup is grounds for rejecting your application or, if discovered later, withdrawing from an investment discussion.

No investment advice

Nothing on this website, in your application review, or in any conversation with our team constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice. If we express interest in investing, specific terms are negotiated individually and documented separately — nothing here is an offer or commitment to invest.

Account responsibilities

You're responsible for keeping your password and any two-factor recovery codes secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

Don't use Xylento to submit content you don't have the rights to, to impersonate someone else, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform, or to abuse the review queue with duplicate or bad-faith submissions.

Confidentiality

We treat your application as confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy. In turn, if we share non-public information with you during an investment discussion, please treat it as confidential too.

Changes to the service

We may update, add to, or discontinue parts of the platform over time. We'll make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect active applications or accounts.

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
